Glastonbury Review.

Key Takeaways: Glastonbury delivered standout performances across the weekend with big-name headliners and surprise highlights.

  • Friday: Blossoms, The XX, Royal Blood and Dizzee Rascal set the tone
  • Saturday: Craig David, Liam Gallagher, Rat Boy and The Jacksons took the stage
  • Sunday: Slaves, The Killers and The Courteeners closed the festival in style

Wristbands and Lanyards are associated with the music and event industry, so in this blog we are going to look at the best gigs we have been to from 2017 and carry this theme on further this year with more reviews of events and destinations The Wristband Company visit.

The highlight of The Wristband Company year was Glastonbury – our favourite acts were a real mix of different genres of music that we would not have watched otherwise. Friday’s highlights were The Blossoms, The XX, Royal Blood and Dizzee Rascal.

Saturday brought another great mix of music for us to watch, we started with Craig David who was fantastic playing to 100,000 people on the main stage at midday.

Memorable Performances
  • Diverse acts gave something for everyone — from mainstream headliners to unexpected gems.
  • Early-morning surprises (like Slaves at 11AM) made exploring the whole schedule rewarding.
Atmosphere & Event Organisation
  • Friendly crowd vibe, well-laid-out facilities that supported the immersive experience.
  • Wristbands and lanyards helped with entrance control and identification across stages.

The day followed with Liam Gallagher and Rat Boy and then the headliner of choice was The Jacksons, who put on a great show.

Sunday started with Slaves at 11AM, we stumbled across them whilst looking for breakfast – at such an early time in the day they were brilliant. The acts that followed on Sunday were all great and included The Killers and The Courteeners.

Overall, Glastonbury was a fantastic few days that I would highly recommend to anyone. Lanyards and wristbands were both in use, and it shows how great they are for helping to run events.
