Summer is almost with us, and as always, one of the big highlights of the summer months are the numerous music festivals which take place. Not only can these give you the opportunity to add another festival wristband to your collection, but they all allow you to enjoy some fantastic music and make some great memories. A lot of people love festivals which go on for several days, but if you aren’t a fan of camping or portaloos – then you may be more inclined to go just visit a festival for one day. AVA Festival
AVA festival takes place at T13 in the Titanic Quarter, where the famous RMS Titanic was built. The backdrop creates a wonderful space for a festival which aims to celebrate, amplify and develop the strong impact of electronic music and digital visual arts. The AVA festival tries to give an opportunity to new and seasoned artists, designers and DJ’s. It is a festival which offers a great day out and plenty to do, it’s a necessity for anyone who loves all thing electronic!
Field Day
Field Day is one of the UK’s most popular one-day music festivals. Set in East London at the spacious Victoria Park, this year the focus will be on ‘The Barn’ – which is a stage that is fitted with a high-quality sound system and one the most advanced lighting set-ups around. The headliners this year are Aphex Twin and Nina Kraviz – meaning there will be sure to be some fantastic moments when the speakers are blaring and the strobe lights are flashing!
Primavera Sound
Primavera Sound is held in the wonderful city of Barcelona, Spain and it brings in guests from all across the globe who are wanting to enjoy some fantastic music. This year, there are 200 acts who are confirmed for the show with The XX, Frank Ocean and Solange just a few of the big acts who will be performing at the festival.
Flow Festival
Set in the unique location of Helsinki, Finland – Flow Festival is one of the most enchanting festivals you can attend this summer. The festival site is wonderfully scenic and as well the great art on display – there will be some great music to fit the mood with Lana Del Ray, London Grammar and Sampha all set to perform.
