News Reuse & Recycle your Silicone Wristbands

Do you have heaps of wristbands left over from your last event? Unsure on what to do with them? There any many, many useful ways to recycle and reuse silicone wristbands that will make you glad you get a hold of them!

1 – Get a grip!

Wrap your silicone wristbands tight around things you need a good grippy handle on. This can be hammers, axes, pitch forks, or even jam jar lids! Handy.

2 – Tie It Up!

Use them to up organise and tie up big lengths of electrical cable, like extension sockets with long leads. These can get unkempt and untidy and often elastic bands aren’t strong enough. Silicone wristbands are the perfect solution!

3 – Put a Lid on it!

If you have tupperware or containers that need a little extra protection to ensure their lids stay on and secure, you can use your silicone wristbands to make sure that they do! Tie them around your containers to make sure the lids won’t fall off.

4 – Label It!

Turning silicone wristbands into a label for drink bottles is a very popular and successful idea for those families with young children who attend nursery or school. Children often find it difficult to differentiate their bottle from 20 or 30 others that look incredibly similar, which is why this is a fantastic solution!

5 – Protect Your Fingers!

Silicone wristbands are great to use as heat protection for your hot cup of tea or coffee – protect your fingers and get a cool new accessory! What’s better, it also provides a really good grip for you to hold the mug! If you have a couple of different coloured wristbands, this could actually be used to brighten up your cup collection!
