Case Study PGL

PGL is the UK’s leading outdoor education provider, delivering inspirational learning through adventure. They employ over 3,000 staff and over 400,000 guests visit them each year. We have supplied PGL with several styles of wristbands and lanyards over the last few years with our most recent order with them being for our festival style wristbands with re-usable clips. We asked Victoria Meehan, who we have been working with since 2016, what her experience has been like working with The Wristband Company:

“I work for an outdoor centre who run adventure holidays for young people aged 8-18. We often range events for the guests, one being a mini festival. We found the wristband company through a Google search and ordered our first lot of wristbands to make our event feel more like a festival. We now run festivals yearly for our staff as mid-season social event, we order wristbands each year. Each festival has a different theme and through the wristband company we are able to send in our ideas and designs to fit the theme, which always come out looking great on the bands. Our last order was for the festival bands with the toggles as the staff really enjoy keeping them as a keep sake. Other centres really liked the idea and how helpful Barry is whenever we have any questions, so they have also used the wristband company for their bands too. The process is always really quick and you don’t need to be a technological wizard to create your designs. They always understand your idea and ask if they are unsure. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to my next order when we can run a staff festival again!”

Our aim with PGL is to provide them with a wristband that is suitable for the event it is being used for so we like to discuss the event with them and then work out what is the best option for them. We also know that the design of the wristband is important to them so our in-house design team will come up with a few different options for them to choose from to make sure they getting exactly what they are looking for. Finally, the wristbands are always needed for a set date so we make sure with work PGL to deliver them in good time for their events.
